The home is the center of our lives, and as such should also be blessed. It is a place we return to each day, our safe haven, our castle, our sacred space. My home may not look like the castle shown here but on many levels it is, it is my strong hold where I return each day to find my own center and re-charge again making it a place we should always keep blessed and cleansed.
Here is a non complicated way to bless your home…simple and effective…
If possible you need to circle its boundaries clockwise with your favorite incense or if you have one, a sage bundle. While walking say, “Air bless my space, to be a space of love, happiness and peace” Keep repeating this making sure you go around every room of your home and outside around its boundary.
Repeat the same steps outdoors and in with a red candle while saying, “Fire bless my space, to be a space of love, happiness and peace”.
Repeat again with a bowl of water, as you go around outdoors and in every room sprinkling the water say, “Water bless my space, to be a space of love, happiness and peace”.
Finally repeat again with a bowl of salt while sprinkling say, “Earth bless my space, to be a space of love, happiness and peace”
Once you have completed your blessing with the elements finish the blessing by sitting quietly in a favorite room and begin to visualize a wonderful blue sphere of light enclosing the whole of your house keeping it safe and warm and filled with loving energy.
